Hi, I’m Cara.
Photographer. Coach. Curious human.
I’m Cara G. Campbell — a photographer, creative coach, and recovering perfectionist who believes that the most powerful stories are the ones we already carry within us.
For over 7 years, I’ve worked in visual communication and design, creating branding, movement-centered portraiture, and compelling creative content for individuals, teams, and brands. My lens is rooted in soul, story, and truth. Whether I’m capturing the connection between a coach and their client or the quiet confidence in someone finally being seen — I’m here for the real stuff.
My photography practice blends technical skill with heart-forward presence. I aim to make my sessions feel natural, connected, and collaborative — never stiff or forced.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me teaching dance, hammocking near White Rock Lake, or talking about self-love on my podcast, Perfection Unfolding.
What I Value
Presence. Play. Purpose.
I believe photos should reflect who you are, not just how you pose.
I believe in honest light, bold movement, and leaving space for the unexpected.
And I believe in learning — which is why I created Foundations of Light & Lens, a workshop that gives photographers the tools and confidence to create with clarity and joy.
